Q: What are my computer's minimum system requirements to attend webinar courses and classes?
A: Minimum system requirements for the Institute's webinar courses and classes can be found HERE - under Cisco Webex Meetings.

Q: Do I need a microphone?
A: No - but a computer-based microphone is HIGHLY recommended as all live classes have live Internet audio conferencing which requires a microphone to use. Microphone headsets work best..

Q: If I don't have a microphone can I still participate in class and ask questions?
A: Yes. The user interface will have a text chat window in the right-hand column (near the bottom) that allows students to type out their questions and responses.

Q: Is telephone audio conferencing available if Internet audio is problematic for me?
A: Yes - by special arrangement. Additional usage rates may apply.

Q: Is student participation monitored in live Specialized Study classes?
A: Yes. Additionally, the conferencing app is capable of detecting the use of non-conference related applications in the background. It can't determine how they are being used, only what is being used.
